Dr. Charles Graybill
     Dr. Charles Graybill attended Cameron State Agricultural School in 1937 and 1938, before earning a bachelor's degree and medical degree from the University of Oklahoma.

     After graduation, Graybill served as a battalion surgeon in World War II, earning the rank of Captain. He was the Orthopedic Consultant for the 4th Army from 1950 to 1979 before joining the orthopedic staff at Reynold's Army Hospital. Graybill also operated a private medical practice, which served the Lawton community for 42 years.

     Graybill has been an active leader in the Lawton/Fort Sill community for more than half a century. He was the Founder of the Great Plains Orthopedic Clinic, President of the Comanche County Medical Society, and President of the Oklahoma Orthopedic Society. Graybill has served as Chief of Medical Staff for both Southwestern Hospital and Comanche County Memorial Hospital.

     Graybill currently serves on the Cameron University Foundation Board of Directors and is the Chairman of the McMahon Foundation Board of Trustees, where he has served for the last 26 years. The McMahon Foundation has given more than $13 million to Cameron.

     Among his numerous honors, Graybill has received the Cameron University Distinguished Alumni award (1983); Citizen of the Arts (1997); and Friend of Lawton Public Schools Award (2003).
