Education has been a continual companion through the life of Linda L. Grantham.
Grantham began her educational journey at Oklahoma City University where she received her bachelor's degree in elementary education and then her master's degree in early childhood education. Fifteen years later, Grantham returned to OCU and earned a Master of Business Administration in management. Grantham also attended The University of Oklahoma and Cameron University taking classes to pursue her educational passions. Her career began in Putnam City Public Schools where she was an open area classroom teacher. Throughout her career, Grantham served as a tutoring coordinator for the Title IV Indian Education Program and she led the Oklahoma Network of Continuing Higher Education Coordinator Leadership Module. In December of 1989, Grantham moved to Lawton where she has continued her volunteerism. Grantham currently serves as a member of the American Heart Association, the Development Committee of Hospice of Southwest Oklahoma and the Arvest Bank Board. In the past, she has served on the Cameron University Foundation Board of Directors, and as a regent for nine years on the Board of Regents of Oklahoma Colleges. |
