Upward Bound provides participants opportunities to generate the skills and motivation necessary to complete their secondary education and to enroll in and complete a program of post-secondary study.
The program currently serves 57 students in the following Lawton and Geronimo Public Schools:
Eisenhower High School
Lawton High School
MacArthur High School
Geronimo High School
Free services and activities for students and parents include the following:
- Tutoring and study skills
- Twice-monthly Saturday Enrichment Classes
- ACT/PSAT workshops
- Financial aid and scholarship information and applications
- College-Prep classes and information
- A six-week, on-campus, summer enrichment program
- College campus visits
- Career Fair and College Life Fair
