2. Students understand the relationship between language and culture, and can integrate cultural and cross-disciplinary perspectives into teaching. 

3. Students demonstrate a high understanding of language acquisition at various developmental levels and can adjust instruction accordingly.

4. Students demonstrate an understanding of the Standards of Foreign Language Learning and use those standards to inform their teaching.

5. Students demonstrate knowledge of assessment practices, can interpret the results to students and other stakeholders, and can use the results to adjust instruction accordingly.
