EPE(EnglishProficiencyExam)
All students who are seeking a Master of Science in Behavioral Sciences must meet the English proficiency requirement. They can do this by either passing the English proficiency exam (EPE) administered by the Testing Center or passing ENGL 5003: English Grammar and Composition for Graduate Students with a grade of 'C' or better. If students do not pass the English proficiency exam, they must take ENGL 5003. The psychology department actually prefers students take the English class. the course does count toward the 33 hours for the degree.The Testing Center administers the EPE by appointment on Wednesdays at 8:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. and on Fridays at 8:00 a.m.. You are allowed 4 hours for the exam. A photo ID is required to test (PREFERABLY STUDENT ID). Acceptable photo IDs include drivers license, military ID, student ID, or current passport.
