Support programs to encourage students to enroll in math and science
Over 300 high school students participated in programs located in the SWAHEC service area during 09-10. Over the last three years 90% went on to college and of those 56% continued on a health career track!

Departmental Objectives continued:
- Provide rural clinical rotations for medical students
- Recruit for and support a Geriatric Scholars program
- Provide Cancer Survivorship Education
