The mission of the Study Abroad Program is to provide academically-sound study abroad opportunities aimed at fostering global awareness and appreciation of different cultures.

Cameron University is committed to providing students quality educational experiences that include international study abroad for those students who are interested in exploring options beyond those offered in the traditional classroom setting. To participate in study abroad events, students must be enrolled full-time during the semester of the event and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.

As part of the CU ABROAD: YOUR PASSPORT TO A GREAT EDUCATION, we offer the following study abroad experiences:

• Brad Henry International Scholar Program at Swansea University in Wales, U.K. (Fall 2013 or Spring 2014).

• History of Western Biological Science with focuses on London (United Kingdom), Paris (France) and Brno (Czech Republic) from March 13-22, 2014 (Spring Break).

• Experiencing London Through the Enlightenment with a focus on London and the surrounding region (United Kingdom) from March 13-22, 2014 (Spring Break).

Study Abroad, for me, was one of the best experiences I had at Cameron. It is something everyone should consider. Without a doubt, Study Abroad opens up your mind to different cultures and encourages you to learn more about other countries in whatever way you can.
