Tutoring Services
Student
Support Services offers free tutoring through our academic labs and
individual tutors. Individual tutors may be requested for subjects not covered
by the academic labs, by signing up in the reception area of SSS. Five tutoring
labs are also offered through SSS for member's use. The tutoring labs are set up
on a walk-in basis for SSS members. Lab hours are posted each semester on each
lab door, are printed in the SSS newsletter, and are also available in the SSS
office.
Student Support Services tutoring labs can usually provide more one-on-one
tutoring than the larger university labs. Many SSS graduates credit the tutoring
program for their academic success. Tutoring can be an important key to
establishing basic skills and surviving courses. Tutoring works!
Student Support Services tutoring labs are located on campus at:
Math Lab - 210-B Burch Hall
Writing Lab - 2055
