SQ3R is an acronym for survey, question, read, recite, and review. SQ3R is an effective active reading strategy to better understand written content. It’s also a great way to empower students who struggle concentrating on text. Additionally, students utilizing SQ3R have an easier time recollecting what they’ve read since they review content several times in multiple ways.

When a criminal mastermind uses a trio of orphan girls as pawns for a grand scheme, he finds their love is profoundly changing him for the better.
For the workshop we will be playing Diversity Bingo. The goal is to help the students see how much or little diversity there is in their group. Diversity Bingo also will allow the students to examine elements of diversity that are not obvious.
Oklahoma TRiO Day is a celebration of all the TRiO programs across the state at the State Capital. A coming-of-age story about a shy, young boy sent by his irresponsible mother to spend the summer with his wealthy, eccentric uncles in Texas. Popcorn and drinks will be provided.
"Life in the Undergrowth" - Taking to the Air from the stunning aerobatics of hoverflies to the mass migration of purple crow butterflies this film tells the story of the winged insects. All students thoroughly enjoyed the first episode in Life in the Undergrowth series shown last semester.
