Throughout the fall and spring semesters, Student Support Services offers a variety of free workshops designed to enhance personal, academic, and life skills.   Workshops are presented by SSS staff members, lab faculty, special guests, and current and former SSS students. 

Previous workshops include:

  • Study Skills
  • How To Succeed in Math
  • How To Use the Graphing Calculator
  • Money Management
  • Paragraph Development
  • Computer and Technology Shopping
  • Scientific Measurements
  • Benefits of Tutoring
  • Financial Literacy
  • And the list goes on!

At the conclusion of each workshop, students are asked to anonymously fill out an evaluation of the workshop and facilitator.  Below are some of the comments SSS students have said about past workshops:
