Distinguished Alumnus Award

This award is presented to a graduate of Cameron University who has attained eminence in his or her academic, professional, creative or intellectual endeavors.  If this person is not already a member of the Chi Eta Sigma chapter, membership is automatically extended.  This award is presented to one person annually bt the chapter.  Past Recipients.

Distinguished Faculty Award

This award is presented to a member of the staff or faculty of Cameron University who has served the local chapter in an outstanding manner or who has achieved eminence in an academic or career field.  If this person is not already a chapter member, membership is automatically extended.  This award is presented to one person annually at CU. Past Recipients.

The Don C. Davis Promotion of Excellence Award

The Don C. Davis Promotion of Excellence Award recognizes individuals or organizations whose contributions have created an atmosphere that fosters excellence in the university's endeavors.  The award is named in honor of its first recipient, Dr. Don C. Davis (president of Cameron University from 1980 to 2002) and is presented at the discretion of Phi Kappa Phi Chapter 174 during its spring banquet. Past Recipients.

Meritorious Service

Phi Kappa Phi's award of meritorious service is presented to persons, organizations or activities that significantly benefit the local chapter.  Chapter 174 began presenting the award in 1989.  Although as many as four winners may be selected each year, the chapter has traditionally only presented the award to one person, and not every year.
