Work may involve physical labor including lifting and carrying sacks of animal feed weighing up to 50 pounds, fence repair, mowing, cleaning, shoveling, raking, and working with sheep and cattle. Some weekend work hours may be scheduled. When not occupied with farm work or assigned chores the University Farm Assistant may be asked to provide assistance in the department office. Two positions are available beginning immediately and continuing through the end of the spring semester

Previous experience in farm and ranch operations required. Agriculture major preferred.
