Student Office Assistant – Office of Academic Affairs

Job Description

This is a student employee position with 15 - 20 hours per week available. The Student Office Assistant will assist with daily office responsibilities and should possess a strong work ethic. Duties include processing university forms, copying, filing, making on-campus deliveries, project support, greeting students and other visitors to the office and by telephone, and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:   

Applicants should have excellent computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; 3.0 or higher overall GPA; good oral and written communication skills; and the ability to multi-task. Also, the applicant must be able to answer the phone in a clear, professional manner and adhere to a strict policy of confidentiality. The successful candidate must be punctual, reliable, detail oriented, and highly organized.
