Distance Learning Support Technician - Extended Learning

Job Description


This is a work-study position with up to 20 hours per week available. Duties include connecting/disconnecting distance learning equipment and monitoring classes. Other duties include possible hardware troubleshooting in smart classrooms, faxing, copying, interacting with faculty and students for Distance Learning related support in person or via telephone, and occasionally proctoring exams.

For this position, work-study hours needing filled are as follows:

MTWR 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant should have good oral and written communication skills, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. The successful applicants must be punctual, reliable and have a positive attitude. The following technical skills are preferred in the areas of, Windows 7 or 10 desktop knowledge, Microsoft Office, some A/V knowledge, and typing.
