Student Office Receptionist – Duncan Campus

Job Description

The Student Office Receptionists will work directly with the Administrative Assistant and office staff to perform a variety of tasks serving our students, faculty and guests.

Duties include:

  1. Screen Phone Calls and Visitors. Direct them to the appropriate office or individual.
  2. Perform various duties relating to support of faculty, staff and students.
  3. Maintain student files.
  4. Maintain intricate mail log.
  5. Communicate professionally with public.
  6.  Assist in maintaining the following calendars:
  7. Perform textbook/class material check out/check in processes.
  8. Sell testing/class supplies, event tickets, etc. (Scantrons, blue books, concert tickets, etc.).
  9. Operate computer.
  10. Input data.
  11. Provide courteous customer service.
  12. Prepare and proof read a variety of documents.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent oral and written communication skills, good computer skills and the ability to prioritize tasks appropriately. We are looking for a candidate who is able to work independently and as part of a team, who exhibits leadership characteristics and possesses the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds. The ability to adhere to a strict policy of confidentiality is an absolute requirement.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Prefer knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
