Human Resources Office - How to Apply

ADMINISTRATIVE / PROFESSIONAL OR FACULTY
To apply for a posted position:
Submit the material requested on the Notice of Vacancy to the Cameron University Human Resources Office by mail or in person by the deadline noted on the Notice of Vacancy. An individual packet of material must be submitted to the Human Resources Office for each individual position as it becomes available.

For those positions which have a specific deadline date and a stipulation of until the position is filled, applications will be provided to the hiring entity to begin the screening and selection process at the close of business on that specific deadline date. Applications will continue to be accepted by the Human Resources Office after that date until the position is actually filled, however, they will not be forwarded for consideration unless the hiring entity opts to prolong the screening and review process and requests additional applications at that time.

 

 

CLASSIFIED EMPLOYMENT
To apply for a posted position:
You must complete Cameron's "Application for Employment" and should complete the "Voluntary Affirmative Action Form" and "Authorization to Release Information" documents.

Return completed "Application for Employment", "Voluntary Affirmative Action Form" and the "Authorization to Release Information" documents to the Human Resources Office by mail or in person by the deadline noted on the Notice of Vacancy. You may keep an original and submit a photocopy each time you wish to apply for a vacant position. A copy of your application, stating the job number of the position, must be submitted to the Personnel Office for each available position. 

For those positions which have a specific deadline date and the stipulation or until filled, applications will be provided to the hiring entity to begin the screening and selection process at the close of business on that specific deadline date. Applications will continue to be accepted by the Human Resources Office after the deadline date until the position is actually filled, however, those applications will merely be retained on file for availability. They will not be prescreened nor forwarded for consideration unless the hiring entity opts to prolong the screening and review process and requests additional applications at that time. For those positions which have only a specific date listed as the deadline by which applications must be received to ensure consideration, additional applications for that position will not be accepted after the closing date.

An application must be submitted to the Human Resources office for each individual position as it becomes available. Applications can only be accepted when the position is actually available.
