The Oklahoma Scholar-Leadership Enrichment Program (OSLEP) is an
intercollegiate academic program sponsored by the Oklahoma State Regents
for Higher Education and administered by the University of Oklahoma. The
program allows eligible students to earn college credit by participating
in one of a year-long series of five-day interdisciplinary seminars. All
seminars are led by distinguished scholars invited from around the world
to teach a select group of 20-25 students chosen from various colleges
and disciplines. Cameron University is proud to be one of the nineteen
universities in the state of Oklahoma which participate in OSLEP.
If
you are a sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student with a GPA of
3.0 or above we encourage you to apply for the seminar of your choice.
How to Apply
In order to apply for an OSLEP seminar, students must have sophomore,
junior, senior, or graduate standing, and have a cumulative GPA of 3.0
or above. Eligible students must also submit a formal application which
consists of a completed application form, three letters of reference, and
a current transcript. Application forms can be obtained through the
OSLEP homepage or from Cameron's OSLEP campus coordinator. Students are
encouraged to apply early in the academic year as some seminars may fill
up.
