The Cameron University/Lawton Community Band has been performing concerts for the past three decades. Currently the ensemble's rehearsal/performance schedule takes place during the first part of each academic semester (i.e. August-October and January-February). Enrollment is open to Cameron University students, faculty, staff, area band directors, high school musicians, Fort Sill personnel, and of course anyone else who loves to perform "band" music. Dr. Lambert selects repertoire which is fresh, contemporary and patriotic in nature. Rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons from 2:00-4:00PM.
