Concert Choir Fall 2014

The choir meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. in the Music Building, Room 115. The new director, Mr. Patrick Callaghan, welcomes all interested Cameron University students (non-music majors and music majors) to participate in the choir this year.

The Concert Choir is an auditioned chorus open to all Cameron University students. It performs several concerts each semester, both on campus and in the surrounding communities.

At Cameron, our choral program is committed to upholding the following core values:

  • Education: Committing to musical excellence with the goal of educating and training the next generation of choral artists.
  • Dedication: Sharing the joy of choral music throughout our campus, community, and the Texoma region.
  • Participation: Achieving the highest standards in performance and practice through enthusiastic exploration of diverse musical styles.
  • Collaboration: Fostering collegial relationships within the choir that will result in a lifetime of musical collaboration.
