Contest for Students
You can earn $300 by entering the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Essay Contest!
The Cameron Campus Ministry and Cameron University Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration Committee invites Cameron students to submit essays on the impact of Dr. King’s civil rights work. The focus should be Dr. King’s message and actions and the effect on their lives today.
Both a high school and a college winner will be chosen. The winner will receive a $300 cash scholarship and will have the opportunity to present their work at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration on January 18, 2016.
All entries are due by 4:00 p.m. on November 30th. Students may drop off a hard copy of their essay at Cameron Campus Ministry or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
