Green to Gold Simultaneous Membership Program (SMP)

Students enrolled in the Simultaneous Membership Program are afforded the opportunity to gain valuable experience as Officer Trainees in an Army Reserve or National Guard unit. You will be placed in charge of an actual Army unit under the close supervision of an Army Officer. Establishing organizational objectives and training priorities are only a small part of what will be expected of you as an Officer Trainee. SMP cadets learn first hand what kind of leadership works and what kind doesn't. They will get an understanding of small group dynamics in a manner unparalleled during their college careers. The Simultaneous Membership Program is only available to students who have completed Army Basic Training or equivalent training from one of our sister services.  Financial assistance maybe available as well as tax free stipends and kickers.
