Cameron’s Zombie Con 2017 to benefit Oklahoma Blood Institute

Are you ready for the Zombie Apocalypse? Join students from the Cameron University Department of Social Sciences as they present Zombie Con 2017, a blood drive benefitting Oklahoma Blood Institute. The event takes place on Tuesday, July 25 in the CETES Conference Center from Noon to 4 p.m. The event is open to the public at no charge. Attendees will have the opportunity to donate blood.

In addition, students from the summer 2017 class “Zombies and Politics” will present survival tips in the event of a Zombie Apocalypse. Topics include the importance of oral tradition among survivors, the justice system during the zombie apocalypse, the future of the U.S. Constitution post-zombies, and elections during a zombie outbreak.

This light-hearted event is open to zombie fans of all ages, so embrace your inner zombie, roll up your sleeve, and join the fun.
