Cameron University students wanting to get a jump on enrollment for the Summer 2017 and Fall 2017 semesters can do so now by reviewing the classes that will be offered for those semesters, which are posted online at the Cameron website at www.cameron.edu/info/schedules under “Search Current Course Offerings.” Students are also encouraged to utilize Degree Works, an electronic-based degree audit and advising tool designed to assist students in reviewing degree progress. To access Degree Works, students can log in to AggieAccess at https://AggieAccess.cameron.edu, go to “My Info” and select “Degree Works” under “Student Quick Links.”
The program allows students to determine what course requirements are needed in order to complete a degree. Students can also identify which courses they have taken or transferred, as well as which ones fulfill program requirements and which ones apply as electives. For students who may be considering a change in major, Degree Works provides a “what if” option so students can see how already completed coursework could be applied toward another major, concentration, or minor.
The enrollment period for the Summer 2017 and Fall 2017 semesters begins on Tuesday, March 21 for graduate students, seniors and members of the CU Honors Program. Juniors can enroll on Wednesday, March 22; sophomores on Thursday, March 23; and freshmen on Friday, March 24. Open enrollment for all students begins on Monday, March 27.
