Lawton High School Class of 1959 encourages classmates to fund endowed scholarship through Cameron University Foundation

In an effort to raise $10,000 for a Cameron University Foundation endowed scholarship that will benefit future graduates of Lawton High School, representatives of that class are encouraging their classmates to  make a financial contribution to the Cameron University Foundation for the LHS Class of 1959 Endowed Scholarship. Contributions are tax-deductible. To make a donation to the LHS Class of 1959 Endowed Scholarship Fund, which has received approximately one-third of the goal, contact the Cameron University Office of University Advancement at 580-581-2999.

“The Cameron University Foundation is grateful that members of the LHS Class of 1959 are taking steps to establish an endowed scholarship,” says Lorie Garrison, CU Director of Development. “Once fully funded, the endowed scholarship will help future LHS graduates in pursuing a college degree.”

An endowed scholarship will allow the Cameron University Foundation to distribute scholarship money in perpetuity. Once established, the Lawton High School Class of 1959 Endowed Scholarship will be earmarked for CU freshmen who have graduated from LHS.
