Cameron University fall semester begins August 21; enrollment is still open

Classes for the Fall 2017 semester at Cameron University begin on Monday, August 21. Enrollment is still open for those who wish to start or continue their pursuit of a college degree. First-time college students or those who have already earned hours toward a degree at other institutions can apply online at www.cameron.edu/admissions. Current course offerings and more information is available at www.cameron/edu/info/schedule. Additionally, the Office of Admissions can be reached at 581-2289 or via email at admissions@cameron.edu.

Cameron offers a wide range of Associate, Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs, with a variety of initiatives targeted at specific student audiences.

High school juniors and seniors are encouraged to enroll as concurrent students, earning college credit while still high school.  Eligible concurrent students qualify for tuition-waivers underwritten by Cameron University. This means those students can earn college credit at a greatly reduced cost, as they have only the expense of mandatory fees, books, etc.

Cameron offers two programs for adults who earned college credit in the past and who never completed a degree. Undergraduate credits never expire, so many adults may be closer to a degree than they think.

Reach Higher, the Adult Degree Completion Program, is designed to allow working adults an opportunity to complete a bachelor's degree. This program combines past college work with a series of courses in online and evening formats to equal a bachelor's degree. In some cases, student's work and life experiences may even count for college credit.

Cameron’s We Want You Back Initiative is a multi-faceted program that will help advisors and students pinpoint specific courses needed for graduation and offer scholarships to assist with completion.
