Cameron’s 19th Annual Red River Expo prepares job seekers for success

Cameron University’s Office of Career Services presents the 19th Annual Red River Career Expo, an event which provides an opportunity for all students, military personnel and residents of southwest Oklahoma to meet with national, regional and local employers. A wide-range of career fields, including health care, telecommunications, marketing, engineering, information technology, sales and more, will be represented. The Red River Career Expo takes place on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. in the Aggie Rec Center. The event is open to the public at no charge.

“The Red River Career Expo, one of the largest job fairs in Southwest Oklahoma, is a great opportunity for students, military personnel, and members of the Lawton/Ft. Sill community to investigate part-time and full-time career and internship prospects with approximately 75 local and national employers,” says Jordan Scribner, Career Services Coordinator. “For those who are interested in learning more about post-baccalaureate degree programs, there will also be representatives and recruiters from various universities who will provide information on multiple academic opportunities.”

Job seekers are advised to dress to impress, as they will have the opportunity to network, hand out resumes, and gather valuable information on different career options.
