There is still time to enroll for the Fall 2016 semester at Cameron University. Open enrollment continues until Monday, August 22. For current course offerings and more information, visit www.cameron.edu or call Prospective Student Services at 580-581-2987.
“Cameron University remains a great value, and it is never too late to start or finish your degree,” says Jon Horinek, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success. “Even with an unavoidable modest increase in tuition and fees caused by a reduction in our state appropriation, Cameron remains the second most affordable university in the state.”
Cameron offers a wide range of Associate, Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs, with a variety of initiatives targeted at specific student audiences.
High school juniors and seniors are encouraged to enroll as concurrent students, earning college credit while still high school. Eligible concurrent students qualify for tuition-waivers underwritten by Cameron University. This means those students can earn college credit at a greatly reduced cost, as they have only the expense of mandatory feeds, books, etc.
Cameron offers two programs for adults who earned college credit in the past and who never completed a degree. Undergraduate credits never expire, so many adults may be closer to a degree than they think.
Reach Higher, the Adult Degree Completion Program, is designed to allow working adults an opportunity to complete a bachelor's degree. This program combines past college work with a series of courses in online and evening formats to equal a bachelor's degree. In some cases, student's work and life experiences may even count for college credit.
Cameron’s We Want You Back Initiative is a multi-faceted program that will help advisors and students pinpoint specific courses needed for graduation and offer scholarships to assist with completion.
