Cameron University to feature English majors in creative writing Senior Showcase

The Cameron University Department of English and Foreign Languages will feature seven graduating English majors in a Senior Showcase on Wednesday, April 29 at 3:30 p.m. in the CETES Conference Center. Ashleigh Balog, Amelia Barr, Casey Brown, Maurice Buckner, Gilberto Nunez, Rhiannon Poolaw, and Jonathan Tuckwell will read selections from their work.  The selected works include fiction, non-fiction and poetry and will focus on a wide range of subject matter, including family dysfunction, lost love, the impact of war, and more. The showcase is open to the public.

Each of the students will earn a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in creative writing. Balog, Barr, Brown, Nunez, Poolaw and Tuckwell are from Lawton. Buckner is from Elgin.
