Cameron University has been selected as a Top School in Military Advanced Education’s (MAE) “2016 Guide to Colleges & Universities.” The guide will be released in the December issue of MAE and will also be available online at www.mae-kmi.com as a searchable database. The publication allows prospective students to evaluate higher education institutions on their best practices in military and veteran education.
“Cameron University has been honored with designation as a Top School in MAE’s annual Guide to Colleges and Universities since 2011,” says President John McArthur. “It is our privilege to serve the military community by providing outstanding educational opportunities to service members and their families.”
In compiling the listing of Top Schools, MAE evaluates six key categories of consideration to servicemembers, veterans, their spouses and dependents: Military Culture, Financial Assistance, Flexibility, General Support, Online Support, and On Campus Support.
Military Advanced Education is the only magazine produced expressly for active duty/reserve servicemembers, members of the National Guard, and veterans who are seeking to take advantage of the Department of Defense’s education benefits. Military Advanced Education serves education services officers and transition officers at U.S. military installations, along with the servicemembers they counsel.
