The Cameron University Department of Chemistry, Physics and Engineering will host the Young Learners Science Exposition, a science fair for grades K-5, on April 27 and 28. Displays will be set up on the first floor of the Sciences Complex, and a public viewing is scheduled for Monday, April 27 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. For complete information, contact Dr. Clint Bryan at 591-8006 or email@example.com.
Displays will be judged on Tuesday, April 28, with an awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. in the McCasland Ballroom of the McMahon Centennial Complex.
Categories include geography, mathematics, natural sciences, behavioral sciences and engineering. Project entries can be an experiment, a model or demonstration, a collection or a science illustration. Group projects are allowed. Entries must be accompanied with a science notebook or journal. All entries must be endorsed by the student’s school, including those who are home-schooled.
Trophies, ribbons and certificates are made possible through the financial support of the Wichita Falls-Duncan Section of the American Chemical Society.
