Cameron University President’s Partners adds 25 new members during 25th anniversary year

Cameron University’s President’s Partners program wrapped up its 25th anniversary year with the addition of 25 new members. Launched in 1989 with 100 charter members, President’s Partners continues to play a significant role in the university’s fundraising initiatives. The addition of 25 members in one year is the largest membership increase in the history of the program.

“Celebrating our 25th anniversary with 25 new members is a tremendous milestone for the President’s Partners program,” says Albert Johnson, Jr., Vice President for University Advancement. “These new members join an elite group of long-time Cameron supporters who make it possible for Cameron to maintain its commitment to the educational, cultural and economic development of the communities we serve.”

Established to meet the growing demand for short- and long-term financial commitments, President’s Partners is a society of loyal Cameron University donors who commit to a minimum donation to the Cameron University Foundation of $1,000 per year. That support is utilized for scholarships, to fund faculty and student research, enhance educational resources, support Cameron’s Study Abroad Program and more.
