Cameron University music students to present “Andiam! Andiam!” opera workshop recitals

The Cameron University Department of Music will present “Andiam! Andiam!,” a concert featuring opera selections, on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, at 7:30 p.m. in the McCutcheon Recital Hall. Tickets are $10 for adults. CU students are admitted free with ID. Seating is limited to the first 80 patrons. The performances are sponsored by the Southwest Oklahoma Opera Guild. To reserve a seat, please call 581-2440.

The selections will be performed by Cameron vocal students Haleigh Adams, Nathan Butler, Jamie Hatcher, Chelsea Jenkins, Prudence Rivera, Reagan Williams, Lawton; Gabe Caron, Altus; Aly Hays, Marlow; Stacia Prucha, Duncan; and Alyssa Yates, Elgin.

The repertoire will include selections from Mozart’s “La Clemenza di Tito” and “Idomeneo,” Rossini’s “La Cenerentola,” Ruggero Leoncavallo’s “I Pagliacci,” Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Mikado,” Camille Saint-Saëns’ “Samson et Dalila,” and Otto Nicolai’s “The Merry Wives of Windsor.”
