Film by Cameron University professor selected for second film festival

“My Girlfriend,” a short film by Cameron University’s Dejan Mraović, Assistant Professor of Art, was chosen as an official festival selection for the 8th Annual Big Water Film Festival in Ashland, Wis. “My Girlfriend” was previously screened at the Autumn Shorts Film Festival in Somerset, Ky.  As an official selection, “My Girlfriend” is eligible for festival awards.

In “My Girlfriend,” Mraović presents a story of great love in just 3 minutes and 24 seconds. The film tells its story of a great love through images and music alone, conveying that the course that love takes can leave us speechless for many reasons.

Not only is Mraović the director and producer, he wrote the screenplay and stars in the film. Cameramen Austin Warren and Colton Warren also edited the production, which was shot in Lawton and other areas of Comanche County.

“My Girlfriend” is Mraović’s fourth short movie.
