Learn about Cameron University’s graduate degree programs during Graduate Studies Preview Nights

Residents of southwest Oklahoma who are interested in pursuing a graduate degree will have the opportunity to explore Cameron University’s graduate programs on two successive Thursdays in November. On November 5, Graduate Studies Preview Night will focus on the Master of Business Administration and the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership beginning at 6:30 p.m. in Ross Hall, Room 111. On November 12, Graduate Studies Preview Night will feature programs offered by the School of Education and Behavioral Sciences: Master of Education in Education offering concentrations in Literacy, Elementary Math Specialist, Secondary Education, Special Education and Teaching and Learning; Master of Education in Reading; and Master of Science in Educational Leadership. Information on these programs will be available starting at 6:30 p.m. in the McCasland Ballroom of the McMahon Centennial Complex.

Attendees will be able to visit with representatives from CU’s graduate programs as well as financial aid and admissions departments. CU staff will provide valuable insight into the graduate programs available and the process of applying for admission, financial aid and scholarships. Participants who pre-register will be eligible to win a $1,000 tuition waiver scholarship.

“Earning an advanced degree boosts an individual’s earning potential,” says Jon Horinek, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Success. “According to data from The College Board, the median earnings for full-time workers who earn a master’s degree is approximately 24 percent more than those who hold a bachelor’s degree.”
