Cameron University’s ROTC cadets topped the field at the 22nd annual Devil Dog Run, a fundraising event hosted by Fort Sill FMWR. In addition, two other Cameron cadets had strong individual finishes. The event consisted of a 10K competitive run and a 5K fun run.
“These student cadets – and future Army leaders – turned in simply incredible performances,” says Major Eric Treschl, Chair, George D. Keathley Department of Military Science. “Their commitment to performing to the utmost of their ability is truly an outstanding representation of Cameron University students and the Comanche Battalion.”
Cadets Andres Berber, Miguel Hernandez, Gregory Mendez, Norman Holcomb and Brandon Crisp compiled the fastest overall team time in the 10K.
Individually, Keesha Holcomb logged the third fastest time overall among female competitors in the 10K and was the second place finisher in her age group among females for the 10K. Mackenzie Daley placed third in her age group for females in the 5K.
