Cameron University Department of Music Presents Country-Jazz Fusion

The Cameron University Department of Music will present the 35th annual Country/Jazz Fusion Concert on Tuesday, October 27.  The concert will feature Steve Story and Friends, as well as the Cameron University Jazz Ensemble and the Cameron University/Lawton Community Jazz Ensemble. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. in the University Theatre. Country/Jazz Fusion is sponsored by Cameron University Lectures and Concerts and is open to the public at no charge.

A gifted and talented instrumentalist and vocalist, Story has toured and/or recorded with recording artists including Willie Nelson, George Strait, Steve Wariner, Ray Price, Ricky Van Shelton, Shelby Lynne and Tom T. Hall. He has performed at Bass Hall, Scat Jazz Lounge and the Modern Art Museum in Ft. Worth; Meyerson Symphony Hall in Dallas; the UCO Jazz Lab in Edmond; the Wichita Jazz Festival and the Vail Jazz Festival in Vail, Colo. Story has produced numerous projects for a variety of singer/songwriters.
