Cameron University has been selected as a Top School in Military Advanced Education’s (MAE) “2015 Guide to Colleges & Universities.” The guide has been released in the December issue of MAE and is also available online at www.mae-kmi.com as a searchable database. The publication allows prospective students to evaluate higher education institutions on their best practices in military and veteran education.
“Cameron University is privileged to serve those who serve our country by providing outstanding educational opportunities to service members and their families,” says Cameron President John McArthur. “Cameron is committed to meeting the needs of the military community. It is rewarding to be designated as a Top School in this annual guide.”
In compiling the listing of Top Schools, MAE evaluates six key categories of consideration to servicemembers, veterans, their spouses and dependents: Military Culture, Financial Assistance, Flexibility, General Support, Online Support, and On Campus Support.
Military Advanced Education is the only magazine produced expressly for active duty/reserve servicemembers, members of the National Guard, and veterans who are seeking to take advantage of the Department of Defense’s education benefits. Military Advanced Education serves education services officers and transition officers at U.S. military installations, along with the servicemembers they counsel.
