The Cameron University Department of English and Foreign Languages continues its Visiting Writer’s Series by welcoming poet Benjamin Myers to campus on Friday, March 8. Myers will read selections from his collections of poems “Lapse Americana” and “Elegy for Trains” at 7 p.m. in the CETES Conference Center. The event is open to the public at no charge.

Myers earned a Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis and is an associate professor at Oklahoma Baptist University, where he teaches poetry writing and literature.
