Twenty Cameron University art students and two faculty members are participating in “Kids At Heart,” a regional art exhibition hosted by The Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art in Shawnee to raise toys for Hope House Children’s Shelter. The exhibit features a wide range of creative artwork that references children’s toys and runs through Nov. 20. Patrons who donate a new, unwrapped toy receive free admission.
Cameron students participating in the show are Kate Adler, Amanda Coates, Jonathan Daoang, Beth Dennis, Leishla Gonzalez, Roseanna Hamilton, Hailey Harris, Elia Merel, Branson Mills, Sharolin Paulsen-Fletcher, Suny Stanfield, and Amanda Suell, all of Lawton; Mary Baumann, Comanche; Matthew D. Hughes, Elgin; Zaeed Kala, Port Louis, Mauritius; Ricky Laugisch, Fletcher; Heather Morefield, Medicine Park; Samridh Mukhiya, Kathmandu, Nepal; Rosalinda Rivera, Duncan; and Katrina Thompson, Wichita, Kan.
Cameron faculty members Andrew Baker and Katherine Liontas-Warren also have works in the show.
