Cameron University Department of Agriculture presents annual student awards

The Cameron University Department of Agriculture honored students majoring in agriculture during a recent ceremony on the Cameron campus. 

Students recognized as Distinguished Ag Students of Excellence, by maintaining a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.5, were Namignan Dosso and Antoine Ehouman, Abidjan, Ivory Coast; Bucky Buxton, Altus; Andrea Bruce, Norman; Javid McLawrence, Carriacou, Grenada; Richard Jeron Park, Devol;  Michael Trosclair and Joseph Williams, Duncan; Julius Korir, Eldoret, Kenya; Karen Baumgartner, Elgin; Wallace Risen, Geronimo; Suyog Gyawali, Kathmandu, Nepal; David Taylor, Temple; Lisa Baughman, Kindra Chavez, Corey Davidson, Wilfred Flores, Tabitha Garner, Amanda Myers, Leland Silverstrim, and Tiffany Welch, all of Lawton; Kelly Kruse, Sterling; Shana Copass, Temple; and Chapel Deaton and David Williams, Waurika.

Recognized as Outstanding Ag Students of Excellence, for maintaining a GPA of more than 3.5, were Katrina Pendergrass, Apache; Ryan Reddick, Blair; Thomas Peixoto, Campo Grande, Brazil; Jacquelyn Higdon, Chattanooga; Odunayo Olanrewaju, Lagos, Nigeria; Amber Fuhrmann, Lawton; Jared Austin, Orlando; Brenna Sweat, Rush Springs; Elaine Harder, Snyder; Chris Burrus, Sterling; and Briawn Franklin, Tulsa.
