Cameron University Concert Band to appear in concert with 77th U.S. Army Band

The Cameron University Concert Band will join the 77th U. S. Army Band in concert on Tuesday, April 27, in the University Theatre at 7:30 PM. Dr. Roy Couch serves as conductor of the Cameron University Concert Band. CWO Michael Franz conducts the 77th U.S. Army Band. Admission to the concert is free.

The combined group will perform "Inspiration Point, Opus 97" by James Barnes, "Shortcut Home" by Dana Wilson, "Swing, Swing, Swing" by John Williams, "Black Granite" by James Hosay, "Dances from the Age of Aquarius" by Carolyn Bremer, "Cole Porter; A Medley for Concert Band" arranged by Robert Russell Bennett, "The Homefront: Musical Memories from World War II" arranged by James Christensen, "America the Beautiful" by Samuel Augustus Ward, arranged by Carmen Dragon, and "Stars and Stripes Forever" by John Philip Sousa.
