Calling all techies! Cameron University's Center for Emerging Technology and Entrepreneurial Studies (CETES) is hosting Tech Night on Tuesday, July 21 from 6 - 9 p.m. Tech Night will provide the opportunity for techies to network, interact and swap ideas, stories and information, meet people working on interesting and/or new technologies and their applications, raise questions and discuss technology-related issues, and more. The event, which is open to the all interested parties at no charge, takes place at CETES on the Cameron campus. CETES officials plan to hold Tech Night on a monthly basis.
"Exciting things are happening in the world of technology constantly," says Arun Tilak, Director of CETES. "A need to provide a forum locally where individuals working in / with technology can meet and network has been expressed by some techies. CETES is happy to provide that opportunity, and we welcome anyone with an interest in technology to join us for this interactive get-together."
CETES is located on the west side of the Cameron campus. From 38th Street, follow C Avenue to the three-way stop, then turn left (north) and proceed to CETES.
