Workshop Series
The McNair Scholars Program presents graduate school preparation workshops and colloquia designed to prepare eligible scholars for doctoral studies. They are facilitated by University faculty, program staff, and visiting presenters.
Topics include, but are not limited to: 
resume and statement of purpose writing networking and communication skills research methodology and data analysis critical thinking and creative-problem solving time management research ethics conference presentation skills library and internet resources writing effective research papers graduate school selection and application mentoring Graduate Record Examination reviews grant writing leadership in higher education
