PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
      
Director of Library Services. Cameron University. Lawton, Oklahoma. 7/00 - present. Lead the Library’s assessment, planning, and plan implementation activities in accord with University and Library missions and goals. Prepare budget requests according to assessment and planning results. Manage spending of funds allocated to the library. Facilitate print-to-electronic resource transition. Supervise eight professional faculty members. Supervise two support members directly and seven other support staff members indirectly. Prepare grant applications. Facilitate fund raising activities. Provide service to the University, the community, and to the library profession.


Access Services Librarian. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Chattanooga, Tennessee. 9/94 - 5/00. Supervised the Library’s circulation and interlibrary loan operations. Supervised five full-time staff members directly and twenty part-time student employees indirectly. Taught library instruction classes. Provided reference assistance to patrons. Completed research and publication projects. Provided service to the University and to the library profession.


Technical Services Librarian. The University of Mississippi Law School. Oxford, Mississippi. 11/92 - 9/94. Supervised the Library’s acquisitions, cataloging, and filing operations. Supervised one full-time professional librarian and three full-time support staff members. Maintained all aspects of the library’s automated system. Provided reference assistance to patrons. Assisted in library instruction class teaching.


Computer Services Librarian. The University of Mississippi Law School. 
Oxford, Mississippi. 2/91 - 11/92. Assisted students and faculty with research. Supervised use of Westlaw database lab. Helped secure Lexis database lab. Supervised one student employee. Assisted Library staff members with computer software and hardware needs.


Consultant. The University of Mississippi Law School. Oxford, Mississippi. 1/90 - 5/90. Identified and corrected catalog records during transition from print to online catalog.
