Cameron University Library hosted a panel discussion focused on Khaled Hosseini’s novel The Kite Runner featuring three Cameron University faculty members. Dr. John Morris, Professor of English and Foreign Languages, compared the novel with its film version. Dr. David Fennema, Professor of Theatre Arts, discussed cultural information needed for comprehensive understanding of the events and characters’ actions. Dr. Dzindolet, Professor of Psychology and Department of Psychology Chair, analyzed the characters’ thoughts and actions with regard to currently-held principles of psychology. The successful program concluded with a question and answer session, prize drawing, and book give-a-way.
