NASA Exhibit

The Library hosted “Living in Space,” a NASA exhibit, and two accompanying lectures during April 2007. The exhibit consisted of photographs related to the space program including vivid images of the Earth from space, a helmet and a glove used by astronauts in space, and packages of “space food.” University students and local school children viewed the materials which were housed in the Reading Room. Sixty-nine children in four different groups visited the library. Oklahoma NASA Space Grant Consortium funding made the events possible.
