Renowned author and journalist, Julie Salamon, was at the Cameron University Library on September 18, 2007.  Ms. Salamon spoke informally to a group of students and faculty from journalism, creative writing, and education about her writing career.  She recounted her varied experiences from writing for Tufts University student newspaper to serving as critic and columnist for Wall Street Journal and the New York Times to authoring six books.  She was quite inspirational!
