WordPerfect Support

With the upgrading of the Library Computers to Windows XP in 2005, Corel WordPerfect is no longer available on the PCs. However, if you need to open a WordPerfect document on the computers, you can do so in Microsoft Word.

To convert Corel WordPerfect and Microsoft Works files into Microsoft Word:

1. In Microsoft Word, click on File, then Open.
2. Under Look in: select the drive containing the file, then change Files of Type to All Files (*.*).
3. Double click on the file name and it will be converted into MS Word.
4. Review the formatting and margins for errors.
5. Use File, Save As to save it with a new name.
