Logging into the computers in the Library Computer Lab
Cameron students enrolled in the current semester may use the Computer Lab.
When you come to a computer station in the Library Computer Lab, you will see a message asking you to press and hold down CTRL, ALT and DELETE to continue. Locate these keys on the keyboard, press and hold them down altogether.
Once you have successfully done this, you will see a login window appear. This window will ask you for your Username, your Password, and the domain (Log in to).
Your user name consists of the first initial of your first name, the first initial of your last name and the last six digits of your Student ID Number. Use lowercase letters!
Your password consists of the first initial of your first name, the first initial of your last name, and the last five digits of your Social Security number. Use lowercase letters!
Ensure that the domain is set to CAMERON (the last field titled Log in to:). Once you have entered your username and password, click OK.
The same login and password are used for the computer labs, student e-mail accounts, off-campus access to the databases and to check grades and class schedules in myCU.
If you have problems, check the way you are logging in. Are you using your Student ID for the username and the SSN for the password? Are the initials lowercase? Is Num Lock (number lock) turned on? Have you selected CAMERON as the domain you wish to log into? Are you currently enrolled for this semester?
If you still experience difficulties, please speak with the Library Computer Specialist at the Computer Lab Assistance desk.
