Regional Employee Academic Tuition Waiver Request
Cameron University - Fall 2016

Program Eligibility

The LEARN resident tuition waiver program is only available to applicants who are not currently admitted or enrolled at Cameron University for the Fall 2016 term at the time of application for the program.

To be eligible, students must be admitted to Cameron University for the Fall 2016 term and be in good academic and financial standing with the university. Oklahoma State Law restricts tuition waiver programs to Citizens and Permanent Residents of the United States. Students must also be classified as residents of the State of Oklahoma by policy set by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education. Students are responsible for all tuition, applicable fees, and cost of books for all courses enrolled if they do not meet the requirements of the program.

Offer is limited to selected area employers through the Chambers of Commerce or other representative groups. Eligible participants must complete the admissions and enrollment process prior to August 15, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. CDT. The offer is not transferrable. The LEARN resident tuition waiver program applies to tuition only and does not include mandatory fees, academic services fees, or textbook costs. Waiver has no cash value and cannot be combined with any other tuition waiver program or tuition waiver scholarship. This program does not apply to students receiving any other award that provides a full tuition waiver. Application of tuition waivers may affect student aid eligibility and/or VA benefits. Waiver will not be applied to a student’s account until after the add/drop period. Additional restrictions and exclusions may apply.

Non-Degree Seeking Student Admission

A student who does not plan to pursue a degree may enroll in a maximum of nine semester hours without submitting academic credentials or meeting the academic curricular or performance requirements. Enrollment in mathematics, English, science, history and government courses will be determined by placement tests. Enrollment beyond nine hours will require formal admission.

Course Availability

Please enroll as early as possible since course seating is subject to availability on a first come, first served basis. Specific course availability cannot be guaranteed.
